Pacific Islanders Encouraging Fun, Engineering, Science and Technology (P.I.E.F.E.S.T.) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in South San Francisco, California by Pacific Islander parents in search of a community within STEM.
The lack of Pacific Islander visibility in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) related careers continues to perpetuate the false narrative that STEM is not a significant part of Pacific Islander culture. In fact, we share a rich history of innovation, exploration, and ingenuity rooted in STEM.
P.I.E.F.E.S.T. is dedicated to improving Pacific Islander representation and increasing access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) related careers.
We are committed to fostering equitable access to STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) education K-8th, and cultivating the next generation of Pacific Islander leaders in STEAM.
With your support we can provide children (K-5th grade) access to resources that will continue to nurture and encourage their interest in STEM as they grow into adulthood.
